I can’t believe I’m 25 weeks into my pregnancy. Where did the time go???
That just means I have 15 weeks left. AAAHHH!!!
So let’s see what are some fun facts about my pregnancy this week, shall we? 🙂
**This information was provided by Babycenter.
- Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her
weight — 1 1/2 pounds — isn’t much more than an average rutabaga, but she’s beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she’ll start to look more and more like a newborn. She’s also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you’d now be able to discern its color and texture.
- Fat: Your baby is starting to put on baby fat. As he does, his skin will start to smooth out and he’ll start to look more like a newborn.
- Hair: Your baby’s hair now has recognizable color and texture, although both may change after he’s born.
- Uterus: Your growing uterus puts pressure on the veins that return blood to the heart, which is why you may feel dizzy if you lie on your back for too long.
It seems that my baby is doing a lot of work this week. Reading these facts just make it a lot more real and fun, don’t you think?
And now I leave you with my belly pictures for this week. I’m not big. I’m not small. I’m the right size for my little one.
